We are so glad you have found us here at Life Along the Way! We pray that you will be encouraged while you are here and that the blog posts, videos, and podcasts all point you to our beautiful Savior and the adventurous, fulfilling, worship-filled life He desires for you.

This site was designed as a place where we can remind each other to see life through the lens of Biblical truth. The world, and the internet in particular, are filled with so many different thoughts, philosophies, and opinions about what we should think, say, do, and believe. It quickly becomes overwhelming! We need to remember to always come back to our foundation – the Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16 says,”All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…” There is no better place to go for answers.

We also want this to be a place where we can share what living the Christian life really, truly looks like. Sometimes that means we are living according to those principles of God’s Word, and sometimes it means we are turning to God for forgiveness because we really messed things up… again. We want to build a community here where we can ask each other questions, dig into the Bible together, talk about our successes and failures, and figure out what it means to follow Christ in every single aspect of living.

When it comes to figuring out what to do with this one life we are given – who to follow, what to believe, what to value – we remember what Jesus said 2000 years ago: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). It is still true today.

So that’s what this site is all about. Showing people the one way to be right with God – faith in Jesus Christ – and then figuring out what it means to follow our Savior for the rest of our lives.
